When the great Sherlock Holmes ran out of ideas and needed help or information to solve a problem, he called upon one valuable resource left to him. He contacted his brother, Mycroft, who worked at the Foreign Office and had encyclopaedic knowledge and experience.
Today, Mycroft is used to describe anyone with the ability to provide the right answer. Mycroft Solutions was born out of a recognition that there are many questions but very few businesses with real answers.
